HOA Board — Privacy Policy
HOA Board stores your community's data on your device. It has no account, no cloud sync, and sends nothing to us.
Policy last updated May 2026 · republished under Veridion LLC on 31 August 2026. The terms are unchanged; only the publishing entity's name has.
Data storage
HOA Board stores all community data — residents, violations, photos, events and settings — locally on your device only. No account registration or cloud sync is required. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it, for example by exporting a report.
Location data
HOA Board uses your device's GPS for field reporting and nearby address discovery. Location is used only while the app is in use ("when in use" permission), stored locally as part of violation and resident records, never transmitted to Veridion LLC servers, and never shared with third parties except as described below.
Photos
HOA Board accesses your camera and photo library only when you explicitly take or attach a photo to a violation record. Photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
Apple Maps / MapKit
Address discovery uses Apple's MapKit framework. When you tap "Discover Nearby Addresses", queries are sent to Apple Maps and Apple's privacy policy applies.
Regrid parcel API
If you configure a Regrid API token in Settings, tapping "Look Up Owner" sends the property address to Regrid's servers to query public parcel records. Only the street address, city, state and ZIP are transmitted — no personal information about you or your device. See Regrid's privacy policy.
Children's privacy
HOA Board is designed for professional use by HOA board members and property managers. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
